Chess tips

I am a beginner in the chess game. I started playing chess last 6 months only. How can i improve my game? I have been playing here. Usually i play 30 min game. now i am in 15 min game. which time is best and why? I personally believe, chess is a game of patience. I learned now to face my defeat, a painful substance to swallow. one thing i know i should accept my defeat and not to lose my hope on chess. after playing many chess in a day, i became absent minded, have you experienced??. Somebody talking to you and we dont hear anything. In sleep sometimes i think lot of strategies and become sleepless. How you overcome this?

Well, first off I would like to say Welcome to the Chessworld! The Best way to improve your game is to play against a Variety of Opponents either here on Chesshere or in the Real World against someone. Playing against a variety of Skills and Strategies will not only make you smarter and better equiped to challenge even greater Opponents, but it will also make you Faster. Chess does take Patience, but I'm sure we can both be Honest with each other and say that you expect your Opponent NOT to take forever. 15 Minutes isn't too bad, it's actually quite reasonable. Personally, I cannot see myself Playing a Chessgame under 5 Minutes. 5 Minutes is in my Opinion the Best Chess time to play with for Masters. However, you will only move Faster once you have played the game a severe amount of times and know the mechanics behind it's Brilliance. As for your Nightmares, I think that only you can overcome your own Personal Issues. Sleeping and thinking about Chess Strategies is quite uneccessary. Chess truly has an Infinite amount of Strategy, but only you can Filter them out to suite your needs! One again, welcome.

First you learn about the opening of the chess game. Then learn how to play middle game then practice the end game. This type of books are available on amazon.com.

Welcome to the wonderful world of chess! If you are a beginner, do not play time limits that make you hurry. If game/15 is a good speed, fine. But if you feel rushed, go back to game/30. Focus on a few solid openings, something with the e-, d-, or c-pawn as white. Learn to play solidly before you play odd openings. Above all remember, you may lose more than you win, but your understanding is always growing. I also recommend studying some chess puzzles; they help you to see patterns on the chessboard. Good luck!

You first start by learning... endgames. I know most players or books start with the opening, but it is really the endgame that should be our focus at the beginning. Opening and middle game is something you learn by playing. Endgame is pretty much a matter of technique. Follow this rule 2/3 playing 1/3 learning through study. In short that is my advice.

Neither time is good at all. You need more time to make the right moves. Start off by playing CC nor RTC. RTC is for the more experianced player. Beginners need time to analyze the position, not be rushed. RTC takes instict. Beginners have none.

Now, i like to play CC game which really stretch my mind and for learning that is better. And if RTC then 30 min or more. Now, i am concentrating on Opening.

Dear Friend, First learn openings and end game; while learning apply your mind and analyze apply your ideas and strategies in middle games and win. There are lot of traps also learn it. Best wishes.

I started by playing- practice practice practice. Then, when I felt that I wasn't improving as much as I liked, I started studying Tactics. Now I am going on to the openings. (I did a litle of evrything evrywhere)
